Miss Alex White and Francis Scott Key White are the sibling duo White Mystery, a Chicago rock’n'roll band founded on April 20, 2008. Inspired by a candy flavor of the same name, White Mystery has since played almost every state in the USA and toured Europe extensively. MTV features the band as a “Top 5 Sibling Act,” “Best Video Premiere,” and places White Mystery songs prominently in television programming and promos.
White Mystery debuts new music on its band anniversary every year, with a 4/20 celebration of vinyl, cds, and digital downloads. Together, the siblings self-released their first “White Mystery” full-length album in 2010, sophomore record “Blood & Venom” in 2011, and “People Power” in 2012 to the critical acclaim of Pitchfork, The Chicago Tribune, and VICE Magazine. Cassette and seven-inch releases on Burger Records, HoZac, and Perpetrator have widened the bands’ fan base considerably.
White Mystery “Telepathic” is the band’s third full-length, recorded with Greg Ashley in Oakland, California and released on April 20, 2013. White Mystery is most recognized for their iconic red hair, high-energy concerts, and a mission to go where no band has gone before.
