Over the last two years, Chicago nonprofit Quiet Pterodactyl coordinated the release of two compilation albums of Chicago-area musicians — “Situation Chicago” and “Situation Chicago 2” — as fundraisers for the Chicago Independent Venue League, supporting venues and artists struggling during the pandemic lockdowns. On March 15 and 16, some of the featured artists will take the stage for two nights of Situation Chicago Live concerts at the Empty Bottle (1035 N.
