Miss Alex White started DJing vinyl at age 19 in Chicago. She discovered 45s in the late 1990s at record stores, where she recognized her favorite oldies for 10¢ a pop. Her collection grew at a time when vinyl was still considered old-fashioned and outdated, so a lot of her rare records were affordable at the time.
Now Alex spins records nationwide, inspiring wallflowers to cut a rug.
