Welcome, rocker nation, to the newest episode of Rock it Out! Blog. Every Friday, host Sami Jarroush rounds together an esteemed panel of critics, musicians, and comedians to discuss the week’s biggest headlines live from our new set at JBTV in downtown Chicago.
This week’s panel features Consequence of Sound Publisher Alex Young, White Mysteryvocalist/guitarist Alex White, and Walter Flakus, the afternoon host of Chicago’s WKQX-FM and member of Stabbing Westward and The Dreaming. They share their thoughts on this year’s Grammy Awards, including Kanye West’s now-infamous comments on Beck’s Album of the Year victory, and they also discuss Spider-Man joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
