A.V. Club “Help Get White Mystery on Conan”

Local garage rock revivalists/redheaded sibling duo White Mystery is the beneficiary of a grassroots campaign spearheaded by area journalist Lee Klawans and the documentarians over at Gonzo Chicago. The growing social network initiative looks to bring the band’s primitive hard rock to the small screen with a performance on Conan.
Alex and Francis Scott Key White told The A.V. Club about their aspirations to bring their savage live performance to their fellow ginger’s late night show. It appears that at least 150 people are currently down with this idea, but with a bit of a push, this dream could be easily realized. Conan has a well-known taste for quality music and is friendly with The White Stripes, a band which White Mystery has been compared to (quite lazily) on the regular in the blog world.
The Facebook group provides this manifesto:
“Ferocious red-head brother/sister Chicago duo White Mystery are tearing up Chicago stages. Help them get some national exposure and combine their super red haired power with Conan O’Brien before the end of the year. The world will rock, peace and tranquility will be achieved by the combination of Alex’s and Francis’ curly locks with the casual flip of Conan’s Man-do.”
Those looking to provide the world with tranquility can do their part by joining the Facebook campaign and by checking out White Mystery at Saki on June 4.
