Yes, White Mystery is all of the above, but the sister in question is the ever-reliable Miss Alex White, and the brother is her actual bro Francis. The pair’s self-titled album offers the usual raw racket, but in this case the usual never fails to bring a dopey smile to our face. Underrated local act Dark Fog continue to pile on the effects pedals for astral blasts of swampy psychedelia. Somehow a mere trio, the heavy acid sound brings to mind Ride and Hawkwind.
