“UNRELEASED TRACKS,” PITCHFORK

See that adorable kitty in the cast up there? She was running under cars on the freeway during rush hour, got badly hurt, and luckily, was rescued by the folks behind garage tape label Burger Records. They took her to the vet and discovered she needed surgery on her pelvis and knee. To cover the steep vet bills, they asked some artists to contribute unreleased material to the 50-song Kitty Comp.
The two-tape compilation costs $10 and features unreleased tracks by Ryan Adams, Crystal Antlers, Mikal Cronin, Young Guv, the Coathangers, White Mystery, Sea Lions, and many more. Check out a track on the comp from Summer Twins above. Any additional proceeds from the tape will go to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
