CHICAGO MUSIC SUMMIT

The city of Chicago is proud to announce Miss Alex White will join a group of esteemed panelists at the Inaugural Chicago Music Summit, hosted at the Chicago Cultural Center. The panel, also comprised of Michael Yerke form House of Blues, Bill Bragin from Lincoln Center, Harold Greynolds from Overcoat management (Glen Hansard, Wild Bell, etc) is moderated by Martin Atkins and will discuss contemporary issues of the music industry. It’s a free event for all ages.

Chicago is a global music powerhouse – activated by musicians working across multiple genres at the highest level of artistry. The Chicago Music Summit is a new conference presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events to shine a spotlight on Chicago’s innovative and thriving music scene and connect professionals with local and national industry leaders. Featuring panels, workshops, concerts, and networking opportunities, the Chicago Music Summit provides free professional development and exposure to support Chicago’s music industry.

Registration for workshops and panels begins Monday, June 17th! Free admission – advance registration is encouraged. Space is limited.

Concerts at the Chicago Cultural Center are free admission and open to the public.
