Fortunately for the garage scene, Evan Minsker is championing rock’n’roll on Pitchfork with his column, Shake Appeal. I had the pleasure of first becoming acquainted with the journalist years ago for an interview, while I still was in Miss Alex White & the Red Orchestra. Fast forward years later, and Evan continues to highlight contemporary bands that are shaping modern g-punk, like Endless Bummer, Cool Runnings, and White Mystery in his first installment of 2014, which you can read here.
