White Mystery played with Neptune’s Core and MIIRORS along with an all-star cast of cool Chicagoans at the Empty Bottle on March 15, 2022 for the Quiet Pterodactyl Situation Chicago two-day festival. In addition to being a good ol’fashion rock’n’roll celebration, it was super cool hosting Neptune’s Core on stage to to join us for a duet of the White Mystery classic jam, “Birthday.” We remember meeting the Neptune’s Core band members when they were toddlers more than a decade ago, and now they’ve grown up to start a rad sibling band of their own. That is the kind of synchronicity that keeps our band going all of these years.Posted 04.25.22 Permalink to this story

It’s not everyday that you survive a global pandemic then get to play an incredible party on the rooftop of a private club downtown. On December 31, 2021, White Mystery brought in 2022 for a select crowd at Soho House Chicago, on Green Street. We’re grateful for the opportunity to perform on NYE, especially given that our last New Year’s Eve show was at the Hideout back in 2019! A good time was had by all. Freakout Fest in Seattle lived up to it’s name as a post-lockdown come back for White Mystery. Miss Alex White and Francis Scott Key White rocked the Eagles Club at Salmon Bay Low in Ballard with an hour-long psychedelic set, complete with lighting by legendary projectionists, Mad Alchemy. The Chicago-based rock’n’roll duo kicked and shredded in custom, bright red snakeskin jumpsuits by West Coast couture shop, Rattleshake.
In keeping with our tradition of releasing something new every 4/20 for 13 years, we present to you…WHITE MYSTERY FUNKY DOLLS!
Limited edition of 10 sets include Alex, Francis, and accessories. 🎸🥁

White Mystery is more than just a band…we organize pop-up Roller Skating Rinks with the fine folks at 1833! Thanks to the Do312 MORE members community for attending, and to SPIN for hosting the incredible event. New Belgium Brewing provided the beers, the new cast from the new musical “Hit Her with the Skates” performed, the master of ceremonies Her? skate-danced to ABBA, along with DJs Francis White and Dave Mata behind the decks. Thanks to the Chicago Shred Union for rink guards that kept everyone safe and happy on the rinks.
