Freakout Fest in Seattle lived up to it’s name as a post-lockdown come back for White Mystery. Miss Alex White and Francis Scott Key White rocked the Eagles Club at Salmon Bay Low in Ballard with an hour-long psychedelic set, complete with lighting by legendary projectionists, Mad Alchemy. The Chicago-based rock’n’roll duo kicked and shredded in custom, bright red snakeskin jumpsuits by West Coast couture shop, Rattleshake.
Alex White, from the great Chicago band White Mystery, joins Anna to talk about how musicians are handling the COVID-19 pandemic and their contribution to Mayor Lightfoot’s #StayHomeChicago initiative.
Alex White & Francis Scott Key White had an awesome performance at City Winery! Click here to see more pictures from the show on In the Loop Magazine’s website.
White Mystery performed Riot Fest five times— in 2011, 2012, 2013, and in Chicago plus Denver in 2015. What are your favorite White Mystery memories at Riot Fest? Feel free to comment below!
