White Mystery performed on the 90th floor roof of the Willis Tower on Sunday, September 11, 2016. The good people at Core12 videotaped the redheaded rock’n’roll combo perform their song about Chicago, “Take a Walk,” which includes the appropriate lyrics, “Just look down.”
It’s an honor to be a part of Chicago history, and be the first band to play the top of the tallest building in Chicago. Stay tuned for video of the record-breaking show at the Willis Tower. Photos by Phil Contursi www.SpaceStagestudios.com
White Mystery talks with Ryan Manno about the music industry and we watch a live performance of their song ‘Take A Walk’. JBTV airs on NBC 5.2 network television, and you can watch it online.
It’s no secret that we love our hometown of Chicago, and “Take a Walk” is precisely about that. Can you tell from listening to the lyrics? Thanks to Caffeinated Recordings for the invite to play their studio!
Starting at 6PM today, the first fifty patrons who walk into the Whistler receive a copy of this limited edition 7-inch record, a split with Black Apple that features “Take a Walk” live by White Mystery at the Hideout.
A record review from Hot Wax states, “White Mystery is one of the great American rock’n’roll bands of our times right now. This split doesn’t do much justice to what they can offer and I was too poor to buy their full length.”
