Four pages in this week’s Chicago Reader give thanks to the more than 2,400 people and businesses who contributed fund-raising drive for the local newspaper. Hundreds of others contributed anonymously, and we thank them as well. Set sail on the B-Side Booze Cruise on July 25th from 8pm-11pm. Empty Bottle Presents music by White Mystery, Flesh Panthers, DJ sets from Bric-A-Brac Records. Small bites will be provided from Monti’s and beer from Goose Island, all while taking in the gorgeous view of Chicago’s skyline on a wind-powered Tall Ship.
Monti’s will provide Boneless Buffalo Nuggets, Soft Pretzel Nuggets, crudite, Angus Ribeye Cheesesteaks and Mini Grilled Mushroom and Soy Sausage Grinders.a
**Make sure you’re on time! Line up begins for the two cruises 30 minutes prior to departure. The ship leaves PROMPTLY at 8PM. Tall Ship Windy is located at Navy Pier across from Riva Restaurant. Bring your voucher for admission.**
