Helping hands from sponsors really add up to make it possible for White Mystery to succeed. The network of people and companies that believe in and support musicians with the tools that they need to rock are doing a community service and successfully put human faces on their respective entities.

Sailor Jerry provided an entire case of rum for White Mystery’s 420 Psychedelic Circus Record Release at Big Sky Works in Brooklyn, and also stitched Francis up with his second and third tattoos via Oliver Peck and Nick Colella. Our rum buddy Nate Igor was there for most of it and he always photographs stuff real good. Blood Booze and Bad Boys!

Scion loaned White Mystery not one, but two cars this year on top of throwing money and free merch at us for our Shonen Knife tour. They gave our brave Pontiac Vibe a 15,000 mile break in the middle of our tour-heavy year, and let us zip around Chicago during the off season.

Incase rules! They hooked us up with backpacks for our 2011 SXSW tour and we fell in love with the sleek and rugged design, and the day before Christmas Francis received a new laptop case for his Macbook Air! Thank you for helping us keep our things safe and fashionable on the road!

Beer Beer Beer! It is the oil that lubes the burning hot engine of rock & roll. Old Style, PBR, and Goose Island have been watering the seeds of imagination for well over a century. To the cause and solution to all of life’s problems!

At some point during the driving, loading, partying, waiting, drinking, and tattooing it comes time to get on the stage and rock. Lava Cables, Souldier straps, Alcala’s Western Wear, Eastwood Guitars and Orange Amps are the magic spell components that transform Miss Alex White into the Shiva Guitar Goddess Axel Black. The one and only Cymbal that Francis Scott Key White smashes show after show is the 20-inch Imperial Throwback Ride, and their excellent service keeps me crashing whenever they crack.

Now for White Mystery’s favorite, Air Heads Candy! We have eaten through 5 boxes of candy this year with our friends across the country, were welcomed us into their marvelous candy factory, and continue to be inspired by our absolutely number one extra special flavor.

Pitchfork was fun!  Ice Cream Man invited Miss Alex White and Francis Scott Key White to distribute new Popsicles by Airheads called WHITE MYSTERY, we sped under Lake Street with Odd Future Wolfgang Kill ‘Em All blasting Black Sabbath, and got written up for style by MTV.  Check out Ice Cream Man and his amazing mission here.
