On Sunday night (1/15), White Mystery closed out Tomorrow Never Knows 2012 at Schubas with some help from Mannequin Men, Mister Loveless, andCity Center. Pictures from the show are in this post.
White Mystery will be DJing the previously announced Jonathan Toubin benefitat the Empty Bottle, tomorrow night (1/20). Speaking of garage rock DJ sets, they’ll take over WXRT’s Eclectic Company show on January 24th at 10PM, premiering new White Mystery songs and spinning vinyl from their personal collection. If you’d like to see this in person, head to The Charleston the following night.
DJ sets aside, the duo also have a bunch of full band shows coming up too. As part of GlitterGuts’ Dance Punk Circus, Alex White and Francis Scott Key White will headline Metro on February 4th. Environmental Encroachment, Blue Ribbon Glee Club, Perfect Kiss, Clique Talk, Pure Magical Love, and more are on the bill. Tickets are on sale now. They’ll also play the Cowboy Monkey in Champaign on February 11th, with Dirty Feathers. A short tour in March will bring the band down to SXSW; check out their full schedule below.
