1000th Chic-A-Go-Go Episode!!!

Chicago’s favorite independent program Chic-A-Go-Go is shooting it’s 1000th episode on SUNDAY JANUARY 18, 2015 Noon-2:30pm IT’S OUR 1000TH EPISODE!!! THE PROMONTORY 5311 S. Lake Park Avenue West in beautiful Hyde Park!

WE HAVE BIG NEWS FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES! On Sunday January 18th the veteran cable access all-ages dance show CHIC-A-GO-GO will do a TV taping of their landmark 1000th episode in the Promontory’s upstairs music venue. An all star cast of guests will join veteran hosts Miss Mia and her puppet pal Ratso for dancing, jokes, and family fun. Since its 1996 debut, tens of thousand of dancers of all ages and backgrounds — linked by their love of music — have danced together in harmony on the Chic-A-Go-Go set, and now you and your family can be amongst the crowd in this historic episode!
Admission is free for children, $5 for adults, and during the event the bar will be serving non-alcoholic cocktails for kids (as well as regular ones for adults). Dancers are welcome to fuel up before or after the taping downstairs at the Promontory’s family-friendly brunch.
There will be free commemorative mementos, some of the best songs we’ve ever played, and amazing surprise guests! Please do not miss this one!
