GET READY FOR WASTED PLAINS!

The second annual event aims to highlight Chicago bands by taking them out of the city and transplanting them north 55 miles in Woodstock.

This year’s lineup includes Ezra Furman, White Mystery, Santah, Cousin Dud, Elephant Gun, The Heligoats, The Soil & The Sun, Jon Drake & The Shakes, Rabble Rabble, On Again Off Again, Thin Hymns, Jaime Rojo, Barber Greene, Jack Avery’s Kin, Jellybones, Kellen & Me, Kane Place Record Club (MKE).

With the festival in its second year, Bradon Pacyna, event coordinator, seeks to outdo his already successful first year operation. Find out what Pacyna and a few of the bands attending this year’s festival have to say about what went into and what they hope will come out of this year’s event.

Stay tuned for more coverage as the Northwest Herald gives you a preview of what’s to come for this year’s Wasted Plains.
